Eric J. Cavett joined Foshee & Yaffe in 2006. His practice with the Firm includes personal injury; business, contract, and commercial litigation; civil litigation; oil, gas, and natural resources; probate and estate planning; and real estate matters.
Mr. Cavett is a native Oklahoman, originally from Mustang. He is a 2008 graduate of the Oklahoma City University School of Law. During law school, Mr. Cavett served for two years as a staff member for the Oklahoma City University Law Review journal. Prior to attending law school, he was a 2002 graduate of the University of Oklahoma. There, Mr. Cavett earned a Bachelors in Business Administration for Finance and Management Information Systems.
Mr. Cavett earned recognition as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2011 and 2012 and through listing in the Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers Association for attorneys in Oklahoma. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma County Bar Association, the Cleveland County Bar Association, the South Oklahoma City Lawyers Association, and the Chickasaw Nation Bar Association. Mr. Cavett is also a member of the Robert J. Turner Inn of Court.
In addition to his practice and professional service, Mr. Cavett serves as Chairman of the board of directors for the Cavett Kids Foundation and volunteers extensive time and energy in support of the Foundation’s mission to provide programs and support for children suffering from chronic or terminal disease or disability.
