
S. Alex Yaffe has been a part of Foshee & Yaffe since he was 5 years old. He has worked in all aspects of the Firm, from being a runner, to an intern, and now as an attorney. Mr. Yaffe is a life-long Oklahoman and is proud to continue the tradition of protecting the rights of individuals who have suffered harm from the actions or products of others.
Mr. Yaffe is a 2005 graduate of the Oklahoma City University School of Law. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Yaffe graduated from the University of Oklahoma, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. During his junior year to OU, Mr. Yaffe had the opportunity to serve his fellow students as student body president of the University of Oklahoma Student Association. While at OU, Mr. Yaffe also served as Chief Justice of the University of Oklahoma Student Association Traffic Court and was a member of the Campus Activities Council and Phi Gamma Delta.
Mr. Yaffe’s practice at Foshee & Yaffe concentrates primarily on personal injury; business, contract, and commercial litigation; civil litigation; and insurance bad faith. He has received admission to practice in all Oklahoma State Courts and the Federal District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma.
As an attorney, Mr. Yaffe has earned recognition as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2011 and 2012. He serves as Vice-President and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Oklahoma Association for Justice. He is member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and serves on the Civil Procedure/Evidence Code Committee, which provides input on legislation impacting practice and procedure in Oklahoma state courts. Mr. Yaffe is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Oklahoma Lawyers Association, the Oklahoma County Bar Association, the Cleveland County Bar Association, and the South Oklahoma City Lawyers Association.
Mr. Yaffe’s community service and involvement includes serving as the founder of the Heartland Lab Rescue and as Co-Chair for the organization from its inception in 2006 through January 2011.
Mr. Yaffe is married, has two children and a house full of dogs.
